Starting salary: $67,200 and Bilingual starting salary at $69,200

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct services may include, but not limited to:
    • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and engagement
    • Determine DSM‑V diagnosis in consultation with supervisor, medical director, psychiatrist, medical provider or designee as needed
    • Develop treatment plans and contracts for services
    • Implement treatment plans, modifying them as appropriate during the course of treatment
    • Discharge planning, which may include linkages to community support services
    • Provide case management services
    • Complete clinical documentation required by agency and program policies, HIPAA regulations, and funding sources
    • Maintain productivity targets determined by service
  • Participate and present in peer consultation and quality assurance reviews
  • Foster collaboration with other clinical and administrative staff to respond to client and programmatic needs, including the implementation of agency policies, procedures, and initiatives
  • Partner with other program or clinical staff to identify and develop approaches to address clients’ unmet needs or service gaps
  • Acquire and maintain needed skills in evidence‑based models that the agency/program ascribe to
  • Partner with supervisor to identify and develop plans for professional growth
  • Contribute to program functioning by assuming responsibility for special tasks or leadership in special projects as appropriate
  • Contribute to agency organizational life by participating in agency‑wide task forces, committees, or problem‑solving teams as appropriate
  • Contribute to agency visibility and development of community linkages by representing the Village in community groups or committees
  • Experience and Skills
    • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or other licensed counseling degree
    • State of CT license required (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, psychologist)
    • Minimum of 2+ years of post‑graduate experience in an outpatient setting
    • Bilingual/bicultural skills preferred
    • Cultural competency to serve a diverse population
    • Strong diagnostic, assessment and treatment skills for individual, family and group therapy
    • Extensive experience working with culturally diverse populations, a wide age range, and a variety of clinical presentations
    • Knowledge of mental health, child welfare systems, and community resources
    • Good organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to function autonomously in day‑to‑day responsibilities while seeking consultation appropriately when needed
    • Proficiency with word processing and general computer skills
