Shipping Associate

The Shipping Associate  Iensurescustomerdelight inacross-functionalsupport rolewithinthe shippingdepartment.

This role is expected to receivevalves into the shipping area,pack, closeand ship customer orders.

• Receive valves from assembly accurately
• Collect all material for Manifold Assembly
• Verify material against BOM
• Match
  
  MO’sfor kit orders
• Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of material being packed and shipped to our customers
• Ensure Product is properly packed and organized per written and verbal instructions for accurate,andsafe delivery
• Labelshipmentsofproducts using marking tools
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
• Examine and inspectshipment, materials, and products to verifypackingspecifications are met
• Prep orders for Packers
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience

HS diploma or Equivalent

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Strong attention to detail

Coordinate workflow with other team members

Ability to operate material handling machinery such as pallet jacks, electric banders, and skid wrappers

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

Lift and move 50 pounds repetitively

Walk and stand for long periods of time

Push carts with heavy loads

Majority of the work time is spent in a manufacturing environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high

PPE required as determined by company safety standards: safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, safety shoes

Salary and Benefits:

The hourly range for the position is $17.00 -$19.00 /hour. The individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. The Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range during the interview process.
