Position Summary:

Responsible for maintaining facility related equipment, production equipment, building, parking lots and property.

• Responsible for the maintenance of the organization’s physical operations including but not limited to refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, plumbing, water treatment, and electric systems
• Assists in the maintenance of property including but not limited to offices, production areas, public areas, and equipment through completion of preventive maintenance programs according to specifications
• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment, building, and property as needed
• Completes daily Standard Work task lists and event reports
• Interfaces with appropriate staff/managers to implement maintenance needs; ensures timely response to requests
• Assists in the maintenance of proper inventory levels
• Assists in fire and safety inspections; corrects any discrepancies; ensures property complies with all safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and regulations
• Assists in maintaining waste disposal, including hazardous waste such as acetone, mineral spirits, or solvents
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma, job specific training and equivalent work experience preferred
• 5+ years related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of ventilation/air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other maintenance skills
• Familiar with city and state building codes and OSHA requirements

• Ability to understand all safety requirements and cautions
• Ability to perform the physical labor as necessary
• Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training

• Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Use of ladders and scaffolds
• Working with parts of various sizes and weights
• Repetitive shoulder/arm/hand motion
• Move furniture, materials and equipment

• Some time spent in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and moderate to high noise
• Outside weather conditions
• Handling of small amounts of general and hazardous waste (solvents, acetone, mineral spirits; general waste may include hydraulic oil, cleaning solutions, soaps and detergents)

The hourly range for the position is $32-34/hour. The individual pay is determined based on factors including work experience, job knowledge, complexity of the role, and location. The Recruiter can share more details during the interview process.
