Job SummaryS&E-TPPS Process Engineering Expert E (multiple openings)
Position is located at 600 Bunker Court, Vernon Hills, IL 60061.
35% Domestic and international travel required.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
As a S&E-TPPS Process Engineering Expert E, you will:
- Provide technical support to pre-projects with respect to Process Engineering, responsible for technical solutions, process design specification and drawings for projects, complex and customized BPUs, lines and solutions.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers/suppliers.
- Manage scope changes and negotiate variation orders.
- Lead and provide support to customers and colleagues related to issue and claim resolution including root cause analysis, PLC/PC, etc.
- Breakdown and plan projects into phases and fulfill each plan and project milestone in time, in full, and according to budget.
- Drive use and content creation of reusable solutions and processes to secure productivity.
- Validate/review technical solutions.
- Develop and improve processes, templates, and tools.
- Enable competitive differentiation.
- Mentor/train others within and outside of the organization and act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in process engineering. Alternatively, will accept an Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field, and 3 years of experience in process engineering.
