Lead Technical Recruiter/Sales Executive📍 Manufacturing | Medical Devices
We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer to support a regulated medical device contract manufacturing environment. This role will serve as the site’s primary EHS leader, with a strong focus on plant‑floor safety, regulatory compliance, and safety culture.
This position is ideal for an EHS professional who has built their career inside a manufacturing environment and understands how to balance operational realities with regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Do- Lead and manage site-level EHS programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Leadership to promote an accident-free, healthy workplace
- Review safety requirements for new machinery, equipment, and facility changes
- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits across manufacturing operations
- Develop and deliver EHS training (emergency response, safety procedures, regulatory compliance)
- Investigate incidents and near misses, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement
- Administer OSHA logs, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work programs
- Serve as an internal consultant on ergonomics, industrial hygiene, hazardous materials, and chemical safety
- EHS experience within a manufacturing environment (regulated manufacturing strongly preferred)
- Hands‑on, practical safety leadership on the shop floor
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards
- Experience supporting compliance in a structured, growing organization
- Safety‑focused culture with minimal environmental waste complexity
- High‑visibility role with direct impact on operations and compliance
