Operations Manager, Business Development
This role is part of our Future Talent Program – Leadership Track, a two‑year program that will develop your leadership skills and bring you broad business knowledge in a truly international environment. From day one you will deliver results as a true team member following a development plan specifically designed for you and your position. The plan includes a combination of project rotations into different organizations, international assignments, work within your own department, and formal training and mentorship from a network of colleagues all over the world.
The program will give you broad insight into our company, culture, and values. After the program finishes you will have gained great knowledge, relationships, and experiences to help you continue your exciting career within our company. The program starts on July 16, 2026. The position is based at a site in Vernon Hills, IL. You will be travelling 25 % of your time regionally for the rotation of activities to learn best practices of Tetra Pak sites.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position; you must be work authorized in the United States on a full‑time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future. The company cannot offer employment to F‑1 (student) visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full‑time basis.
you will do
- Conduct competitive and customer research to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities.
- Work cross‑functionally with sales, operations, and partner teams to ensure strategic alignment.
- Present data‑driven insights and proposals to senior stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process innovation, cost reduction, or channel expansion.
- Collaborate with KC Sales Hubs and Market Operations teams to align messaging and positioning.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, project management, business development or a related field.
- Recently graduated and have no more than one year of relevant full‑time work experience.
- Finished or will finish your studies between December 2025 and January 2026.
- Strong grasp of market research, customer segmentation, and trend analysis.
- Clear, concise, and persuasive communicator across technical and business audiences.
- Proficient in data interpretation, modeling, and performance tracking.
- Works well across teams and builds trust with internal and external partners.

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This compensation range is based on a full‑time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work‑related allowances.
- Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $58,700 – 78,000 USD
- Short‑term incentive/bonus (variable pay):
