We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, including processing membership cancellations and agreement changes, handling member inquiries, and ensuring accurate processing of refunds.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, including processing membership cancellations and agreement changes, handling member inquiries, and ensuring accurate processing of refunds.
Responsibilities- Process membership cancellation requests in Oracle, SFDC, and update the cancellation tracker as per timelines.
- Maintain member files in shared drives.
- Process agreement changes in Sales Optima, SFDC, and Oracle.
- Handle FBC+ cancellation requests.
- Address member inquiries regarding cancellations, billings, and refunds.
- Ensure accuracy in processing member refunds.
- Participate actively in team activities.
- 1 year of experience in general accounting using Quick Books and Oracle.
- Strong problem-solving skills with knowledge of basic accounting principles and documentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to meet established deadlines.
- Self-starter, detail-oriented, with a can-do attitude.
- Adaptability to dynamic business environments and a willingness to embrace change.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable is a plus.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Willingness to work as part of a diverse team.
This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring in-office presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Monday and Friday. Work hours are from 8 am to 4 pm.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Vernon Hills, IL.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
