This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vernon, BC, for a Retail Salesperson. The Retail Salesperson will be responsible for assisting customers with their flooring needs, providing product information, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Key responsibilities will include offering recommendations, managing product displays, handling sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

• Previous experience with flooring, tile, cabinets, counter top products would be an asset, with a willingness to learn about new offerings
• Proven experience in retail sales, with the ability to effectively present product features and benefits
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers
• Customer service skills, including assisting customers in a professional and friendly manner, and addressing inquiries and concerns
• Ability to meet sales goals and contribute to a positive team atmosphere
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Prior experience in the renovations or building industry is an asset

will be competitive hourly wage based on experience plus commissions based on performance.
