Brighter Staffing Agency is currently seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Hotel Room Attendant to join our team at a reputable hotel in Vernon, BC. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' rooms, creating a positive and memorable experience for them.

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
• Ensure all amenities are in working order and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
• Follow hotel policies and procedures for cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms
• Stock and organize housekeeping carts with necessary supplies
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain a friendly and courteous attitude towards guests and coworkers
• Follow safety and security procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
• Report any lost and found items to the appropriate department
• Assist with laundry duties as needed
• Attend to special guest requests and accommodate their needs to the best of your ability

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time
• Knowledge of safe and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
