Overview

The RBC Dominion Securities Management team located in Vernon, BC is looking for a Branch Operations Supervisor to join their team!

The Branch Operations Supervisor provides supervision over Branch Operations, with increased responsibility in oversight of internal controls with the Branch Management team. This role involves high-level involvement in audit and implementation of regulatory policy and procedural rules and regulations.

What will you do? (Responsibilities)
  • Oversee and process all branch cash transactions, including cheques, Bankwires, and physical securities
  • Prepare, print, review (where assigned), and distribute Branch and Cage reports, and sign off on some reports prior to final submission to the Branch Management team
  • Ensure the Branch Operations team files all branch‑related reports and documents and maintains retention of documents in accordance with internal controls
  • Act as a branch designate as needed, guaranteeing signatures and signing cheques
  • Oversee account opening approvals, reviewing documentation, spotting errors, and coaching branch staff on proper procedures
  • Participate in Branch Support Staff meetings to review and educate on Branch Operations updates, common errors and best practices

  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures (asset)

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable incentive payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions and business needs.

The expected salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000.

This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
