Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Financial Director based in Vernal, UT. The Financial Director will oversee the organization’s financial operations, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, analyzing complex data to inform decision-making, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and advising on cost-effective measures to optimize financial performance. Additionally, the Financial Director will lead financial reporting processes and collaborate with leadership to develop strategies for fiscal responsibility and growth.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Financial Planning and Financial Statements
- Strong Analytical Skills and expertise in Finance
- Experience with Financial Reporting and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
- Proven leadership experience in financial management, preferably in public health or government organizations
- Knowledge of relevant financial software and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
