Provides high-quality public service in the library's circulation area. Responsibilities include registering patrons, issuing library cards, circulating materials, processing payments for fines and fees, handling inquiries, and resolving customer account issues. This role also involves filling and processing holds and performing various essential clerical tasks.
To qualify for this role, you should have at least one year of customer service experience and the aptitude to complete specialized training in library software and cash handling within 60 days. Because of the responsibilities involved, passing a pre-employment background check is also a necessary condition of employment.
This part-time position offers an hourly wage of $16.00 along with some fantastic perks!
