Asphalt Plant Laborer – Local Work, Real Skills, Reliable Pay You Can Count On

Location: Irasburg, VT
Pay: $25–$27/hour, depending on experience (weekly paycheck)
Schedule:

• Varying shifts required - including nights, weekends and early morning start times

Looking for a dependable, hands‑on job you can be proud of? Join our asphalt plant crew and learn the ropes of road building from the ground up. No degrees needed—just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

• Work as an essential member of the asphalt plant crew.
• Keep the plant running smoothly by assisting the plant crew with various duties such as with shoveling, cleaning, loading, and light repairs.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment like skid steers and loaders (we will train you – however, equipment operation experience is a plus).
• Work outdoors in all kinds of weather—real Vermont grit required.
• Show up ready to work, stay safe, follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations, and be part of a solid, respectful crew.

• Must be 18 years in age or older and maintain a current driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred, not required)
• Reliable transportation and attendance
• A positive attitude and ability to follow directions
• Physical ability to repetitively lift 50 lbs and handle an active workday
