• Manage the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance, and performance tuning of on‑prem SQL Server instances and databases
• Install, configure, and patch SQL Server environments, including managing SQL Server Agent jobs
• Maintain backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability
• Administer SQL Server security, managing logins, users, roles, and permissions
• Diagnose and resolve database‑related issues, providing support to application teams and vendors

• High school diploma or GED
• 1‑3 years of experience in Information Technology
• Strong understanding of database management systems and SQL Server
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues
• Willingness to provide after‑hours and weekend support as required

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Proficiency in scripting with T‑SQL, Python, and/or Power Shell
• Familiarity with cloud database platforms and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
