JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Manager, 340B Network & Outpatient Pharmacy Business Operations is responsible for pharmacy systems and outcomes in the following areas at the UVM Medical Center: (1) drug product contracting, selection, procurement; (2) 340B Program compliance, contract negotiation, auditing and monitoring, monthly reporting, dispensing patterns, and inventory process; (3) inventory control and billing processes; (4) information systems/technology administration and development; and (5) financial and statistical reporting on operations and business planning and analysis.
At the UVM Health Network, the Manager, Network 340B & Outpatient Pharmacy Business Operations is responsible for working collaboratively with pharmacy, supply chain and finance leadership to promote the growth, effectiveness and compliance of the 340B Drug Pricing Program across the network. As a member of the Outpatient Pharmacy leadership team, collaborates with the team to plan, organize and operate the department to achieve unit and organizational goals, meet customer needs and assure high quality services and products.
- Direct responsibility for pharmacy systems and outcomes in the areas listed above (1–5) at the UVM Medical Center, including drug product contracting, selection, procurement, 340B program compliance, contract negotiation, auditing and monitoring, monthly reporting, dispensing patterns, and inventory process.
- Oversee inventory control and billing processes, information systems/technology administration and development.
- Provide financial and statistical reporting on operations and participate in business planning and analysis.
- Collaborate with pharmacy, supply chain and finance leadership across the UVM Health Network to promote growth, effectiveness and compliance of the 340B Drug Pricing Program.
- Work with the Outpatient Pharmacy leadership team to plan, organize and operate the department to meet unit and organizational goals and ensure high-quality services and products.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master of Science in Pharmacy, Health Care Administration or Business preferred
- Five years pharmacy operations experience in an academic health center environment with demonstrated expertise in pharmacy informatics and technology development.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and facilitate work teams to achieve specific results.
