We are seeking a Hospitalist for a 7-day locum tenens assignment in Vermont starting Feb 17, 2026. This opportunity features 12-hour day shifts in the hospital from 7 am to 7 pm, with overnight call coverage (7 pm to 7 am) supporting night hospitalist APPs. The role may require very rare in-person attendance overnight, as experienced APPs handle most issues.

Feb 17 to Feb 24: 7 days on, 7 am to 7 pm in the hospital; on call overnight 7 pm to 7 am
- Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage during scheduled day shifts
- Serve as overnight on-call support for night hospitalist APPs (7 pm to 7 am)
- Respond to rare overnight hospital needs requiring in-person presence
- Collaborate with APPs to ensure quality patient care
- Document patient care using the Cerner EMR system
- Vermont medical license required
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
