Job Description:Position Summary: A Van Driver is responsible for delivering, unloading, and may collect payment for product sold to customers and other duties as assigned.
Schedule:Tuesday - Saturday
Start time between 6 & 8am
8-10 hours a day (40 hours weekly)
- Delivering, unloading, and may collect payment for product sold to customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
- 6-12 Months professional driving/delivery experience, touch freight or related area.
- Valid non-commercial driver's license
- Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
- Must be 21 years of age
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Pass road test
- Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from approximately 60 to 90 pounds, depending on the location
- 1+ years commercial driving experience
- Food service distribution industry experience
- Onboard computer and electronic log system experience (i.e. People Net)
- Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience (i.e. POD)
- Customer service-related work experience
