Residential Counselor - Bradford, VT (Male Program)

Veterans Inc. is the largest provider of supportive services to Veterans and their families in New England. We seek Residential Counselors to support our Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for Veterans residing in the program.

Part‑time Saturday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
• Maintain resident safety and confidentiality by checking all bags, administering breathalyzer and random drug tests, and forwarding incoming calls for residents.
• Prepare and submit detailed shift and incident reports of all activities, incidents, and emergencies that occur during the shift.
• Maintain safety and security of the building, company vehicles, and all Veterans Inc. property on site.
• Serve as first responder for client‑related emergencies; trained in CPR, First Aid, and Narcan administration.
• Complete other special projects and duties as assigned.

• Minimum of a high‑school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in security, residential, or direct‑care services.
• Successful completion of a CORI/background check.
• Compliance with Veterans Inc. COVID‑19 vaccination policy (religious and medical exemptions considered).
• Willingness to submit to and pass a drug test.

$20 per hour.
