Hillside Builders, LLC is a small carpentry & general contracting company in the Woodstock, VT area. We are a value-led organization with a reputation for professionalism, integrity and high quality of work.

We are hiring experienced and competent Carpenters with professionalism and skills to join our growing team for high-end residential projects.

• Experience with carpentry techniques and methods from frame to finish, or a specialty in either
• Minimum of 5 years’ carpentry experience, 8-10+ years preferred
• Strong attention to detail and precision measurements with integrity for high quality work
• Able to work with limited direction and complete tasks unsupervised
• Have a sense of humor and be able to work in a team environment
• Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Must be motivated and reliable
• Ability to follow health and safety standards
• Able and willing to work in varied weather conditions, including outdoors
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to get to work on time and ready to work
• Must be able to pass a background check

We offer competitive wages from $30 - $40/hour, depending on each candidate’s combination of skills, experience, and knowledge.

We work Monday – Thursday, 7am-5:30pm, but may be open to flexible scheduling depending on need
