Hillside Builders, LLC is a small carpentry & general contracting company in the Woodstock, VT area. We are a value‑led organization with a reputation for professionalism, integrity and high quality of work.

We are hiring a Laborer to join our growing team for high‑end residential projects. A Laborer will help keep jobsites organized and clean, help manage tools, pick up & deliver materials, run errands, and provide general on‑the‑job support for carpenters, foremen and project managers. We are currently hiring for Part‑Time, but with the potential to become a Full‑Time position.

• Entry level
• Basic understanding of carpentry, jobsites, or construction
• Able to follow directions and complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Organization and attention to detail skills needed
• Competent in using electrical and manual hand tools and equipment
• Have a sense of humor and be able to work in a team environment
• Must be motivated and reliable
  
  Ability to follow health and safety standards
• Able and willing to work in varied weather conditions, including outdoors
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to get to work on time and ready to work
• Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record

We offer competitive wages from $22 - $28/hour, depending on candidate’s combination of skills, experience and knowledge.

We work Monday – Thursday, 7am-5:30pm, but may be open to flexible scheduling depending on need.
