Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 / hour

Job Summary: Alliance Group is seeking a HVAC Installer to join our Essex Junction, VT branch to join our growing Install team. The HVAC Installer is a field-based position that will be responsible for installations of HVAC systems but not limited to, ducted systems, ductless-split systems, rooftop units and refrigeration equipment. Individuals must demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as an aptitude for problem solving, time management, and customer service.

• Perform installation of HVAC related equipment per manufacturer specification and company policy
• Perform installation of linesets, and techniques of brazing, soldering and purging
• Determine and receive the appropriate materials/equipment requirements for each job
• Utilize HVAC knowledge for relevant projects and write ups for repair recommendations on jobsites
• Ensure the connection of gas lines is completed properly and up to code standards
• Perform heavy lifting as needed and adhere to safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Accurately read blueprints and other technical drawings
• Assist in Factory start up and owner trainings

• Valid driver’s license required
• 3-5 years experience in HVAC installation
• Gas License preferred (or willing to obtain)
• EPA license preferred (or willing to obtain)
• Rigging certification preferred
• OSHA 10 preferred
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and other technical drawings
• Knowledge of Build-Ops platform desired
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently
• High level of reliability, follow-through, discretion, and integrity
• Must possess proactive, positive problem‑solving skills
• Must be an energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team play
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Must maintain a company vehicle
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis
• U.S. citizenship or a current, valid U.S. work permit is mandatory
• Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• A background verification and motor vehicle check will be required.
• A pre‑employment post‑offer Human Performance Examination is required for this position.
