Steward; Dishwasher - Club

Overview

The Steward (Dishwasher) position supports the culinary team at The Club at Spruce Peak. The Steward is responsible for maintaining all silverware, glassware, dinnerware, pots, pans, etc., clean and appropriately stored according to standards. We are looking for someone who can provide sincere service through actions that display self-confidence and courtesy to guests and colleagues.

• Washes, stocks and organizes dishes and maintains the overall cleanliness of the kitchen, stewarding and surrounding areas to health department standards.
• Assists chefs and front of the house managers in projects as needed.
• Maintains storerooms, walk-ins, banquet kitchen, EDR, and any food and beverage areas clean and organized.
• Communicates effectively with kitchen and restaurant staff.

Pay Range: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour based on experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Stewarding experience preferred in a fine dining restaurant.
• Pleasant and attentive personality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull a maximum of 10 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk up to 6-8 hours per day.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
