Location: Stowe

Talta Lodge is seeking a skilled and creative Lounge Bartender to join our hotel team. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who excels behind the bar, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys contributing creatively to both beverage and food offerings. The bartender will be responsible not only for crafting high-quality cocktails but also for preparing select small-plate food items while maintaining exceptional guest service.

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the drink program, including menu design and the development of new cocktail concepts.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare classic and specialty cocktails with consistency and precision
  • Design and update the lounge cocktail menu, including seasonal and signature drinks
  • Create new beverage offerings that align with the hotel’s brand and guest experience
  • Prepare and plate small food items while multitasking efficiently during service
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper food and beverage safety standards
  • Engage guests with professionalism, warmth, and product knowledge
  • Manage bar setup, breakdown, and inventory awareness
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a bartender in a lounge, hotel, or upscale bar setting
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and drink-building techniques
  • Food preparation experience preferred, especially with small plates or light kitchen work
  • Ability to multitask effectively between bar and food responsibilities
  • Creative mindset with an interest in menu development and innovation
  • Reliable, punctual, and available to work Thursday–Saturday evenings

Compensation: $18 hourly plus tips.
