- Read and follow recipes.
- Fry foods and take orders.
- Make sandwiches or salads, bag and price products.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware.
- Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
- Portion and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons.
- Take and record the temperature of food and food storage areas (refrigerators, freezers).
- Prepare a variety of foods such as meats, vegetables, or desserts according to customers’ orders.
- Package take‑out foods or serve food to customers, remove trash as needed.
- Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Inform designated personnel when equipment is not working properly or when food and supplies are low.
- 40 hours per week, Monday – Sunday.
- Flexible 8‑hour shifts between 5:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., any day of the week.
- Shifts vary; weekends required.
- Able to work continuous movement, regular bending, lifting, and pushing.
- Flexible and able to communicate effectively, speak clear English, and be a team player.
- No minimum education required.
- On‑the‑job training provided.
Wage: $19.86 per hour. Overtime available at $29.79 per hour. Wages paid weekly on Wednesday, calculated using a single workweek as the standard.
H‑2B InformationThis posting is associated with an application for H‑2B workers. The employer will reimburse the first workweek for all visa, border crossing, and other related fees. If the worker completes 50% of the contract period, the employer will reimburse transportation and subsistence from the recruitment location to the place of work. Upon contract completion or earlier dismissal, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home, except where the worker does not return due to subsequent employment with another employer.
Daily subsistence will be provided at $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Housing available for rent at $75 per week; optional and not a condition of employment. If the worker rents, the amount will be deducted from the paycheck; otherwise, the employer will assist in finding suitable housing nearby the worksite.
All tools, supplies, and equipment are provided free of charge. Workers receive daily transportation to and from the worksite.
