JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - RN-Med Surg/Telemetry
Location - 44 South Main Street, Randolph, VT 05060
JOB DETAILS:
Full Time - 13 weeks contract
Night Shift - 7 pm to 7:30 am // 36 hours weekly
Work Location - On Location
Ability to commute/relocate:
Randolph, VT 05060:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provided comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
Monitored cardiac rhythms via telemetry and identified/report abnormal ECG changes
Administered IV medications, cardiac drips, blood products, and monitored therapeutic responses
Performed head-to-toe assessments and developed individualized nursing care plans
Managed patients with CHF, COPD, diabetes, post-operative recovery, and cardiac conditions
Responded to rapid response and code blue situations
Interpreted laboratory results and diagnostic findings to guide care
Coordinated multidisciplinary care with physicians, respiratory therapy, and case management
Educated patients and families on medications, disease management, and discharge instructions
Documented patient care accurately in EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
REQUIREMENT:
Preferably 2 years within the specialty, required 1 year
RN License
