Location: Cambridge

Lamoille Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. As an integral member of our patient-centered healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse population in a fast-paced community health center setting.

Responsibilities:

* Patient Care:

* Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.

* Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.

* Administer medications, including injections and vaccinations.

* Collect and document patient vital signs and medical history.

* Perform basic nursing assessments and triage patient calls.

* Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.

* Assist with minor procedures, such as wound care and dressing changes.

* Clinical Support:

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

* Prepare and maintain patient charts and medical records.

* Assist with inventory management of medical supplies.

* Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

* Teamwork:

* Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other members of the healthcare team.

* Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

* Required:

* Current and valid LPN license in the state of Vermont

* BLS certification

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Strong organizational and time-management skills

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and diverse environment

* Preferred:

* Experience working in a community health center or other primary care setting

* Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems

* Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred)
