This is a 13-week contract position.

3, 12‑hour shifts per week: 7 pm – 7 am (nights)

The Emergency Department has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse. In this fast‑paced position, the ED RN provides direct care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialties as required, and adjusts the nursing care process as needed to ensure optimal patient care. RNs collaborate with other health team members to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care.

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust the nursing care process as necessary.
• Consult with other specialties to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in a fast‑paced team environment, providing support to peers as needed.
• Adapt and learn quickly in a busy emergency setting.

• Current VT or compact multi‑state RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of ER RN experience required.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• Familiarity with Meditech or ability to learn quickly is required.
