We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse to join a collaborative team providing exceptional care to adult and occasional pediatric patients. • Assignment Type: Travel RN (Travel Nursing)
• Setting: General Med/Surg unit (primarily adults, occasional pediatrics)
• Start Date: March 25, 2026
• End Date: June 24, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 7:00am – 7:00pm (Day shift nursing)
• Hours: 36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts, includes every other weekend)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1840-$1940/week

• Minimum 3 years of acute care RN experience required (Med/Surg RN, acute care RN)
• Current Vermont RN license or multi-state (compact) RN license accepted
• BLS (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS certification required
• Experience with Meditech or other Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems preferred
• Comfortable providing comprehensive care to both adult and occasional pediatric patients
• All required credentials and immunizations must be uploaded five business days prior to start date

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and occasional pediatric patients on a general Med/Surg unit
• Coordinate and implement patient care using the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical nurse leads, and nursing supervisors to meet patient needs (team-oriented care)
• Provide care across medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric settings as needed
• Prioritize holistic patient care, addressing physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR (Meditech preferred) and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Contribute to a supportive, team-focused environment focused on positive patient outcomes
