** Embark on an Adventure: RN - Med/Surg - Day Shift in Beautiful Vermont** - Experience the breathtaking natural beauty of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom.- Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to exceptional patient care.
- Work primarily with adult patients, with occasional pediatric cases; this is not a pediatric floor.
- Enjoy a day shift schedule: 7am - 7pm with three 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, including every other weekend.
- Start date/orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month.
- Engage in a dynamic general Med/Surg unit, providing comprehensive care, including:
- Medical and surgical care - Outpatient and observation services - Swing bed and pediatric care - Collaborate with a talented team to meet the unique needs of a diverse patient population.
- Utilize innovative Nursing Process for critical decision-making while delivering holistic care that addresses:
- Age and physiological needs - Spiritual and psychosocial well-being - Developmental requirements - Accountable to the Unit Director, with close collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor.
- Requirements for applicants:
- Minimum of three years of acute care experience.
- Preference for candidates experienced with Meditech.
- Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure.
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
- ACLS certification prior to start.
