House Supervisor - Emergency Department Location

Mt. Ascutney, NH

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour night shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified House Supervisor for our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate must possess supervisory experience and the ability to handle various responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department.
  • Ensure effective patient management and care coordination.
  • Handle unplanned situations and manage aggressive behaviors from patients or families.
  • Lead the nursing team in critical thinking and decision-making scenarios.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of staff and patient care teams.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent inpatient experience.
  • Current supervisory experience within the past 6 months.
  • Experience in a Critical Access facility.
  • CERNER EMR experience.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
