Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a long-term care unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care to residents aged 60 and older, focusing on their unique needs and ensuring comfort and dignity.
Responsibilities
Delivering exceptional nursing care to long-term care patients
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalized care plans
Assisting with medication management and adherence to safety protocols
Providing education and support to patients and their families
Documenting patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record system (EPIC)
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Experience with EPIC documentation system within the last 2 years is mandatory
Dementia capable care certification preferred
Ability to work holidays as needed
Must not have allergies to animals, as a cat is present on the unit
