Schedule

Shifts are 10 hours during the day, with rotating weekly and weekend call. A minimum of every other weekend required.

Job Description

The OR RN will be responsible for providing care in a surgical setting, focusing on specialties such as Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, OBGYN, and Endoscopy. The nurse will assist in the operating room, performing circulating and scrub roles as necessary. Candidates must have skills in C-sections and prior experience in the operating room is required.

Responsibilities

Circulate and scrub in surgical procedures as required.

Collaboration with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality of care.

Provide support and education to patients pre- and post-operatively.

Document patient care accurately in the EPIC system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an operating room setting, with experience in C-sections highly preferred.

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Strong circulating skills are preferred; scrub experience is a plus.

Recent EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required.
