Vermont Smoke & Cure is seeking a reliable, hard‑working production worker to join our team. This team member ensures our goals are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality.
Job Details- Location:
Hinesburg, VT - Shifts:
D1 Monday–Thursday 5:00 am–3:30 pm; D2 Friday–Sunday 6:00 am–6:30 pm - Pay: D1 hourly starting from $19/hour; D2 hourly rate +20% shift differential
The Packaging Machine Operator works as part of a team to prepare packaged goods. This team member efficiently operates machinery specific to the department, adhering to safety protocols, ensuring accuracy, and delivering high‑quality products while minimizing waste.
Responsibilities- Operate and monitor packaging equipment to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the packaging process.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to CGMP guidelines.
- Assemble and fabricate packaging materials as needed.
- Package finished products according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete paperwork for operations and quality.
- Utilize machinery to carry out tasks.
- Work to mitigate safety risks.
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Experience working in a production environment, ideally with food or involving mechanical equipment.
- Problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication.
- Strong work ethic.

- Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing plant environment.
