• This job is on site at our facility in Hinesburg, VT
• Shift: Monday – Thursday 5:00 am to 3:30 pm
• Hourly rate starting from $19/hour

The Packaging Machine Operator works as part of a team to prepare packaged goods. This team member efficiently operates machinery specific to the department, adhering to safety protocols, ensuring accuracy, and delivering high-quality products while minimizing waste.

• Operate and monitor packaging equipment to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the packaging process.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to CGMP guidelines.
• Assemble and fabricate packaging materials as needed.
• Package finished products according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete paperwork for operations and quality.
• Utilize machinery to carry out tasks.
• Work to mitigate safety risks.

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Experience working in a production environment, ideally with food or involving mechanical equipment is preferred.

• Problem solving abilities.
• Effective communication.
• Strong work ethic.

• Ability to lift 30-75 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to constantly stand, walk, bend, and move around during entire shift.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and nonverbally.

• Regularly required to use oral communication skills.
• Learn and apply new information or skills.

• Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing plant and office environment.
• English is the primary language; training materials are written in English. Translation will be provided for individuals who do not speak English as their primary language.
