Control Room Operator

A stable, long‑standing power producer is hiring a Control Room Operator to keep their plant operations safe, reliable, and efficient.

This is a hands‑on role at a 22 MW wood‑fired power plant. You’ll operate the facility from the DCS and the plant floor, lead Steam Plant Operators on shift, respond to alarms, and make real‑time decisions that keep power flowing.

• Operate boilers, turbine generator, and auxiliary systems
• Monitor and adjust equipment from the DCS and in the field
• Lead and direct Steam Plant Operators on shift
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain safe, steady operations
• Perform rounds and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards

• Power plant or heavy industrial operating experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety‑first mindset
• Comfortable working rotating shifts
• Ability to read gauges, P&IDs, and technical documentation
• Physically capable of industrial work (lifting, climbing, PPE, confined spaces)
