Position Overview
Allen Brothers Inc is seeking one (1) Baker to work at 6023 US Route 5, Westminister, VT 05158. The position will be full‑time and seasonal during the dates of April 1 2026 to December 1 2026.**
ResponsibilitiesCheck products for quality and identify damaged or expired goods, combine measured ingredients in bowls of mixing, blending, or cooking machinery, Place dough in pans, molds, or on sheets, and bake in production ovens or on grills, measure or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, or icings, using scales or graduated containers, observe color of products being baked, and adjust oven temperatures, humidity, or conveyor speeds accordingly, check equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations.
Decorate baked goods, such as cakes or pastries, direct or coordinate bakery deliveries, order or receive supplies or equipment, prepare or maintain inventory or production records, follow recipes, has knowledge of baking and pastry techniques, kitchen and baking utensils, appliances and equipment, learn how to make and bake bread and pizza dough. Worker will maintain cleanliness of baking and cooking areas including washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, clean storage areas and floors, as well as perform deep-cleaning tasks in the kitchen at the end of the day.
& Requirements
Employees will work Mon‑Sun an average of 40 hrs/wk. Must be able to work any 8 hr shift within the hours of 5:00 am to 3:00 pm any day of the week. Days off rotate, shifts vary, weekends are required. This job requires continuous movement, regular bending, lifting, and pushing. Must be flexible, communicate effectively, speak clear English, be a team player.
No minimum education is required.
On‑the‑job training is provided. Allen Brothers Inc will provide all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job at no charge. Workers will be provided with daily transportation to and from the worksite.
Compensation- The wage is $19.46 per hour. All deductions will be made from paychecks that are required by law. No other deductions will be taken unless voluntarily agreed upon. Overtime is available at a rate of $29.19 per hour. Wages will be paid weekly on Wednesday, and the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.**

- The employer will reimburse the H‑2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H‑2B worker.
- If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work.
- Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker' s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer.
- The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved.
- Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.

- Housing is available for rent from the employer by the H‑2B worker at a cost of $75 per week. The house is located at 1 Barber Park Saxtons River, VT 05154. This is optional and is not a condition of employment.
- If the worker agrees to rent this housing, the amount will be deducted from the workers paychec . In the alternate, the employer will assist the workers in finding suitable housing that is available within close proximity to the worksite.
