Production Generalist ; 2nd Shift

Overview

King Arthur Baking Company is seeking a Production Generalist (2nd Shift) to safely and efficiently operate production and packaging equipment in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. This role ensures the integrity of ingredients and finished products by performing inspections and adhering to food safety specifications.

Location:

White River Junction, VT. This is a full-time, on-site position on 2nd shift (Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM). Base pay range: $18.73/hr – $19.77/hr plus a 10% shift differential; pay commensurate with experience.

• Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Inspect and handle ingredients and finished goods to ensure compliance with food safety and quality specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in production areas, including routine cleaning to meet GMP standards.
• Maintain accurate and complete production records and documentation using required software.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets, identify operational improvements, and resolve issues as they arise.

• On-the-job training provided on company-specific processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; frequent lifting of 25 lbs; standing, walking, bending, and other movements required.
• Ability to wear required PPE; visual acuity and manual dexterity; ability to navigate a busy production floor.
• Work environment includes manufacturing conditions with varying noise levels and potential allergens.
