Days: 9 AM to 5 PM

Salary Range: $23 – $26 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble, evaluate, and prepare inspection report of findings on incoming customer hot runners
  • Assemble, fit, and install prefabricated parts and sub‑assemblies into unique custom‑made‑to‑order machine‑tool systems
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Cross‑train in other areas within the business as required; transfer and share knowledge with other team members
  • Monitor the functioning of all equipment and report any problems or substandard condition to the team leader
  • Ensure all documentation is maintained according to standard operating procedures
  • Perform all cleaning of parts as per established cleaning procedures
  • Perform regular heat test and inspection procedures to ensure that the product is formed in accordance with the specifications
  • Conduct product and performance testing and document results
  • Perform installation, repair, inspection, reassembly, replacement, refitting and adjustment of products as required
  • Assist in troubleshooting fit, form and function issues and provide field support as needed to customers
Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or high school equivalency required
  • Mechanical aptitude required
  • Proficient in the use of basic hand tools; crane and forklift experience
  • Ability to use, replace and maintain basic tooling
  • Basic computer knowledge required
  • Technically capable of performing hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic and/or electrical assemblies
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and/or engineering drawings as required
  • Strong problem‑solving and customer‑relation skills
  • Experience using measuring and inspection equipment and tools
