The family-friendly terrain at Saskadena Six Ski Area sets the tone for a classic winter ski day in the mountains, with gentle terrain perfectly suited for beginners. Saskadena Six welcomes both skiers and snowboarders to its downhill slopes and a terrain park. There are 2 lifts servicing 28 trails ー 30% rated as beginner terrain, 40% as intermediate and 30% as advanced ー with the longest run spanning a distance of 5,280 feet.

Rentals, repairs, lessons and a cozy base lodge are all available on-site.

Job Summary:

Lift Operators are responsible for providing safe, efficient and courteous loading and unloading of all guests riding lifts at Saskadena 6.

Job Specifications:

• Expected Pay Range: starting $17.00 per hour
  • The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate's qualifications and/or experience.
  • Shift & Schedule Availability:
    Full time seasonal and part time seasonal positions available
    • 8:00am - 4:00pm, Wednesday through Sunday, must be available to work weekends and holidays

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome each guest while loading and unloading the ski lift.
• Respond to all guest inquiries in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Follow all lift opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure all safety signs, mats, seat pads, and safety cones are in place, clear, and safe.
• Keep lift area well maintained.
• Must be able to make quick decisions regarding lift speed to ensure guest safety.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Able to work outside during inclement weather.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and shovel snow.
• Prior lift experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate and solve problems effectively.
• Motivated to provide great customer service.
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
