Under general supervision, perform the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scrubber, etc.). Maintain refrigeration systems, coolers, air compressors, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, general maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment. Maintain the facilities, buildings and grounds according to a preventative maintenance schedule and on an as‑needed basis. Observe all safety and regulatory standards.

Ensure quality of work product while working efficiently and in a timely manner. This position functions as a team member within the department and organization as required, and performs any duties assigned to best serve the Company.

• Obtain daily work orders for material handling equipment maintenance and/or repair and minimize equipment downtime.
• Order necessary parts required to maintain equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to equipment standards, guidelines, and time frames.
• Ensure batteries and battery charging equipment are properly maintained and functional according to standards.
• Maintain master maintenance and repair schedule for warehouse and office facilities, including monitoring of ammonia refrigeration systems to ensure proper temperature and operation, and assisting with repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance shop in a clean and orderly manner; keep accurate maintenance records and manage expenses prudently.
• Follow all safety standards and policies.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs for grounds, warehouse, shop, and office facilities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

Experience: 4–6 years in HVAC maintenance, material handling equipment maintenance, and general maintenance and repairs for large warehouse, fleet shop, and office facilities.

$29.00–$35.00 per hour
