North Hero House is a 26 room boutique hotel located on the shores of Lake Champlain. We have two well established reastaurants the North Hero House Restaurant that offers year round service and the Summer seasonal lake front Pier Bar.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site position located in North Hero, VT, as a Front Desk Supervisor at North Hero House Inn & Restaurant. The Front Desk Supervisor will oversee daily front desk operations, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain smooth guest check-ins and check-outs. Responsibilities include managing front desk staff, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, coordinating reservations and room assignments, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.
Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for this role. Actively working front desk shifts, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance, hiringbanf training seasonal staff are all part of this role.
- Strong Supervisory Skills to effectively lead and manage front desk staff
- Exceptional Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction focus to ensure a positive experience for guests
- Proficiency in Receptionist Duties and Phone Etiquette for seamless guest interactions
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling guest concerns
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation PMS and restaurant POS systems is preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality or a related field is a plus
