Location: Springfield
Description
The Pharmacy Technician I will:
- Be responsible for sterile compounding and automated inventory maintenance (ie., Pyxis).
- Be responsible for performing general technician functions as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy.
- Drive a hospital vehicle as a function of their role.
- Demonstrate a positive team attitude, and a willingness to perform general department functions as assigned by Director of Pharmacy
- High school degree or equivalent
- State of Vermont Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification within twelve (12) months of hire
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) (preferred)
- Sterile compounding experience (preferred)
The base rate for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
