Gifford is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical services in accordance with nuclear medicine practice standards, as well as serving as a resource for radiography students and other technologists. This role requires adherence to hospital and department policies, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting a positive work environment.
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical services according to established nuclear medicine practice standards. You will follow the hospital and department policies and procedures while completing all required competencies related to the field. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with quality standards specific to nuclear medicine modalities and successfully complete mandatory continuing education units as required to maintain board certification and state licensure.
You will also be responsible for protecting the confidentiality of all patient care, personnel, and business/financial information. In addition, you will foster a positive, flexible, and team-oriented work group and act as a mentor and resource to radiography students and other technologists, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
Must be Certified or Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist and licensed to practice in the state of Vermont via NMTCB or ARRT.
