Overview

Town of Hartford, Vermont — Community Service Officer — Full-time — Pay Rate $23.06/hour

The Community Service Officer is a non-sworn civilian position supporting the Police Department and performing Town Health Officer duties. Essential duties include Parking Enforcement, Animal Control, and Community Outreach support. The Community Service Officer responds to parking and animal complaints, monitors and enforces all parking and animal control regulations, assists the Outreach Commander with various non-criminal calls for service and quality-of-life situations, and other associated duties, including those unique to Vermont Town Health Officers.
