Sales and Use Tax Associate Analyst

• Ensure indirect tax compliance through preparing, filing, and payment of required sales and use tax returns
• Reconcile assigned sales and use tax accounts
• Ensure compliance with internal controls (Sarbanes Oxley) and proper documentation of processes to minimize tax risk
• Develop relationships with internal and external business partners and serve as point of contact for inquiries related to sales and use tax processes
• Participate in projects and assignments of diverse scope

• Basic to intermediate level accounting skills and account reconciliation experience required
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize duties and work under strict time constraints to meet multiple deadlines
• Knowledge and expertise in sales and use tax concepts, principles, and compliance processes is a plus
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to use functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot tables

• Sales and use tax research experience with tax research tools preferred (RIA Checkpoint or CCH)
