Overview

A full-time school psychologist position is available for the  school year, serving a supervisory union covering grades K-12 in Vermont. This travel opportunity involves supporting multiple schools within the union, based in Williamstown, VT, with expectations to provide comprehensive psychological services across the district.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct cognitive assessments and evaluate students for moderate autism.
  • Perform testing, observations, and participate in meetings, primarily in person for complex cases.
  • Write detailed reports and manage documentation, which can be completed remotely following in-person evaluations.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of Vermont Special Education law to ensure compliance and support student success.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and external agencies to provide effective psychological services.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Licensed or certified as a school psychologist with experience in K-12 settings.
  • Familiarity with Vermont Special Education regulations and procedures.
  • Skilled in cognitive assessments and autism evaluations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage travel across the supervisory union.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage reporting and collaboration.
Location and Work Arrangement
  • Position is based in Williamstown, VT.
  • Hybrid work model available: in-person for assessments and meetings, with the option to conduct report writing from home.
  • Travel between schools within the supervisory union is required.
