Position: Language Tutor-Student Employment (Workstudy Eligibility Required)
Location: Castleton

Serves as a dedicated student worker for the VTSU Multilingual Student Services office by assisting with language tutoring and supporting office initiatives. Requires a commitment of 3 hours per week to help students achieve academic success in their chosen foreign language studies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide individualized language tutoring to support student learning of a foreign language and academic success.

• Assist with administrative and programmatic tasks that advance the goals of the Multilingual Student Services office.

• Connect students with virtual multilingual resources to supplement their language learning.

• Promote an inclusive and culturally responsive environment that supports diverse learners.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must be enrolled as a sophomore or higher at Vermont State University, in good academic standing, with intermediate-level proficiency or higher in a language with tutoring demand and experience tutoring students.
