Job DescriptionEssex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity for a Long-Term Substitute Computers and Careers Teacher at Essex High School starting immediately through mid-April, with the possibility of an extension. Applicants with experience in computer applications, digital citizenship, and career exploration are desired and encouraged to apply. The position will remain open until filled.
Pay: $300 a day, $150 for a half day
EWSD is committed to considering out-of-state candidates who are eligible to hold a Vermont educator license but do not yet hold a license in this state.

Qualifications- Hold (or be eligible to hold) a valid VT educator license with a secondary endorsement; business education endorsement is preferred.

- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the student population being served and how demographic variables impact student achievement. Ability to use this knowledge to effectively design and deliver instruction.
- Commitment to continuous improvement in the areas of knowledge and professional practice.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
