Healthy Kids Programs seeks a dynamic Director to lead our After School Program for the school year. As the Director, you will be the driving force behind every aspect of the operation of the Healthy Kids Program Site.

Pay$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Hours2:45 - 5:30 pm
Responsibilities- Guide compliance:
Ensure staff and program adhere to state guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school rules. - Bring the fun:
Direct engaging hands‑on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and more. Support homework completion. - Manage like a boss:
Maintain accurate attendance and registration records and ensure proper staffing levels to keep the program running smoothly. - Keep everyone in the loop:
Maintain open lines of communication with parents and family members through the Playground App. - Collaborate with team:
Communicate effectively and regularly with your direct report, updating on daily occurrences and addressing issues timely.
- At least eighteen years old.
- BA, BS or Associate’s degree.
- At least ten months direct work experience with school‑age children OR Vermont On‑the‑Job Training certificate OR Vermont After school Professional Credential OR Vermont Program Director Credential OR Vermont Teacher Licensure OR Master’s degree in a youth‑related field.
- Medically fit, free of communicable diseases including TB.
- Warm, friendly, upbeat; exceptional people skills with kids, parents, and team; professional, reliable, punctual.
- Ready to bend, stretch, lift, carry up to 50 lbs.; able to keep pace with energetic kiddos.
