Math Teacher

The Loomis Chaffee School announces a search for a full‑time Mathematics Teacher to begin teaching in mid‑August of 2026.

The preferred candidate has a minimum of three years of teaching experience, an advanced degree, and the ability to teach the breadth of the high‑school mathematics curriculum. Candidates with a demonstrated ability in helping develop essential mathematical skills at introductory levels in the high school sequence will be prioritized. Excellent candidates will be considered for the position of Chair of the Mathematics Department.

Loomis Chaffee is a boarding school and, in addition to teaching Mathematics, other responsibilities could include dormitory residence or affiliation as well as participation in the afternoon program at the school in a manner commensurate with the candidate’s skills. Housing may be available.
